A graduate of the honorable School of Self-Taught, Terry Jacob has surpassed even his teacher's expectations. Although his first screenplay, VIDEO MAN, has died a suffocating death in the drawer, his second screenplay, END OVER END, has fared better by finding its way to a quarter-final finish in both Austin and Scriptapalooza screenwriting competitions, and has also climbed onto Triggerstreet.com's Top 10 list.
Terry's third screenplay was optioned as THE SADDLE BAGS and had the esteemed privilege of two-time Academy Award nominated actress Diane Ladd attached to play the lead. The latest draft, now titled FOOL'S SILVER, garnered an Honorable Mention in The Best in the West screenwriting competition and is currently in the Hall of Fame on Triggerstreet.com.
Terry's fourth script, an adaptation of the critically acclaimed novel JOY IN MUDVILLE by Gordon McAlpine (script co-written with Scott Cole), is currently in the hands of a Hollywood producer.
Terry's latest, CAPTAIN JACK (co-written with James Barrett), will soon be completed and finding its way into the Hollywood maze.
