PJ McIlvaine is the writer of the original Showtime family film MY HORRIBLE YEAR starring Mimi Rogers, Karen Allen, Alison Mack and Eric Stoltz (who also directed). The film was honored with a 2002 Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing In A Children's Special. Hollywood Reporter: "PJ McIlvaine's script is spontaneous and loaded with wit."
McIlvaine's latest script to hit production is the family holiday movie A MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS, co-directed by Karl Fink and John Dowling, Jr. The film is currently in post production and stars Adam Ferrara, Jane Sibbett, Matt McCoy and Carol Alt.
McIlvaine has received many accolades for her numerous screenplays, most recently: SIXTY ACRES reached Hall of Fame on Triggerstreet.com not once - but twice, THE HARSH MISTRESS was a Semi-Finalist at The People's Picture, THE BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN was a Semi-Finalist at Austin Heart of Film, and GLORIE placed in the Top Ten Percent with the Nicholl Fellowship.
McIlvaine is currently in the throes of birthing a medieval epic fantasy, a "Vital Notice" franchise, and countless others.
